About Me

My name is Martin Beeler. When I moved to Switzerland in 2015, I immediately began learning and foraging the fungi and flora. In 2018, I became a VAPKO-certified mushroom controller and am currently working as the controller for Gemeinde Allschwil.

Through the work of Paul Stamets and others, I became intrigued by the idea of mycoremediation and mushroom growing in general. For many years, I was studying privately and at university, and it was time to turn these ideas into reality. Through grant help, I was able to take over a laboratory in Basel from a previous mushroom grower.

If you would like to come take a look at the laboratory in Aktienmühle, please send an email or stop by. I am usually around Wednesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Or, you can catch me during my mushroom control hours at the Schulhaus Neuallschwil in September and October, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 5 to 7pm.
